The summer that Joe was getting ready for Africa. He worked some in the lab, but mostly he had a lot of fun that summer. Iana was in the city, and they spent alot of time going back and forth and hanging out with friends in the city. The pictures are from that summer. One is of the Robertson cousins hanging out in the pool room at Dana's graduation party - too bad Joe was sitting in the corner that day. The other picture is from a weekend that he spent in New Brunswick with the Haldane's fishing. No fish, as usual, but what a way to spend some time.
